In our church, the service “Standing of Mary” took place – this is Matins on Thursday of the fifth week of Great Lent, during which the life of Mary of Egypt and the entire canon of St. Andrew of Crete are read. Father Rodion and the parishioners took turns reading the life of Mary of Egypt and the canon of St. Andrew of Crete.
