On September 8, the Russian Orthodox Church established a celebration in honor of the Meeting of the Vladimir Icon of the Holy Mother of God in memory of the salvation from the invasion of Tamerlane in 1395.

People who have acquired your all-honorable and miraculous icon, Mother of God, as a strong defense and an indestructible wall, pray to You to grant victory to our Fatherland over the enemies!

8 сентября русской православной церковью установлено празднование в честь Сретения Владимирской иконы Пресвятой Богородицы в память о спасении от нашествия Тамерлана в 1395г.

Твою, Богомати, всечестную и чудотворную икону люди стяжавшие, яко заступление крепкое и стену нерушимую, молятся Тебе на врагов победу даровать Отечеству нашему!

On Saturday we cleaned the candlesticks and began hanging icons and lambadas. We invite everyone who wants to come and work and help us. The church is open every Saturday, from 11am to 4pm.

В субботу мы начистили подсвечники и начали развешивать иконы и лампады. Приглашаем всех желающих прийти потрудится и помочь нам. Храм открыт каждую субботу, с 11 утра до 4 дня.

September 1, Sunday. The tenth week after Pentecost. Afterfeast of the Dormition of the Most Holy Theotokos. The memory of the martyr Andrew Stratelates is also celebrated. Also on this Sunday, the Church honors the icons of the Mother of God “Donskaya” and “Addition of the Mind”. After the liturgy, a prayer service was held.

On Sunday, September 22, after the liturgy, we will have a puppet show for children and adults in our church. A picnic is planned after the show. Everyone is invited! (Rain date: Sunday, October 6).

В воскресенье, 22 Сентября, после литургии, у нас в храме состоится кукольное представление для детей и взрослых. После представления планируется пикник. Все приглашаются!   Если будет дождь, представление и пикник перенесутся на воскресение 6 октября.

Work on improving the surrounding area and the church continues with the help of our parishioners. Today we cleaned the seven-branched candlestick, lamps and memorial candlestick. We invite everyone to help us on other Saturdays.

Продолжаются работы по благоустройству прилегающей территории и храма с помощью наших прихожан. Сегодня почистили семисвечник, лампады и поминальный подсвечник. Приглашаем всех помочь нам в в остальных субботах.
